- Keep. The current article would appear to relate chiefly to Indian astrology, and as such might be merged to comparable subjects such as domicile (astrology) or exaltation (astrology). But "Abhimani" is also the name of one of the sons of Brahma, as well as apparently a technical term denoting a class of deities in Hinduism; Books and Scholar yield many results. I do not know how these several meanings relate to one another, and the current article seems to allude to several of them as well as the astrological sense. It seems to be a proper subject, and the instant article requires cleanup rather than deletion. - Smerdis of Tlön (talk) 14:31, 25 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]
- Keep per Smerdis of Tlön. If this has a lot of different meanings, then perhaps a disambiguation page would be appropriate? Or can we determine which of the several meanings you note is most prominent? UltraExactZZ Claims ~ Evidence 13:29, 28 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]
- Redirect to Agni. Abhimani is just a seldom used name for Agni, seemingly only used when directly referring to him as the son of Brahma, as these very reliable sources show.[1][2][3] Priyanath talk 04:58, 29 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]
- Redirect or Merge to Agni. Wikidas© 20:52, 29 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]
- Redirect to Agni for now, as that is the most common use. There may be other meanings that may justify a disambiguation page at some stage, but keeping the article in the current state is not useful. (I'll reconsider my !vote, if someone creates a disambiguation page before this AFD closes). Abecedare (talk) 01:06, 30 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]
- Redirect and Merge with Agni. [4] Abhimani is Agni - the fire god, the eldest son of Brahma.--Redtigerxyz Talk 14:46, 1 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]
